Recently I went all-in, wanting to finish a 10-year on-again-off-again project.  It was writing my story for my grandchildren.   I am not a writer, so my effort was a challenge.   I realized after reading it back I’m terrible.   Some areas seemed particularly embarrassing.   So, I sought out help.    I searched online for editors and came across Cup and Quill.   I called and spoke with Linda, who’s encouraging and caring.   My initial impression was positive, but more importantly, her friendliness built trust.   It was genuine and not a sales pitch.    During our conversation, we somehow drifted into being dog owners, which led to me sharing my loss of mine.   Linda shared with me her blog and a piece she wrote about losing her pet.   This led me to read her blog.  Her thoughts and lessons are informative and influenced a shift in a few of my perspectives.   She is gifted/talented/and caring.  Check her blog out on her website. My project is just beginning.   I once heard that you don’t get a second chance to make a first impression.  My first impression was so positive I was eager to share my initial thoughts and share this review. Cup and Quill gets two thumbs up or 5 stars.   I’m encouraged that my grandchildren may now be able to understand what I wrote.
